Bid on this magnum of 2016 Realm "The Tempest" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend (1.5L) (97JD, 96JS, 96WE, 95RP, 93VN). Jeb Dunnuck: "Starting with the thee blends (The Tempest, Falstaff, and The Bard), the 2016 The Tempest is always a Merlot-dominated release and is 66% Merlot and 34% Cabernet Sauvignon in 2016. It comes from multiple sites in the valley and sports a deep purple color as well as a rocking bouquet of plums, chocolate, scorched earth, and spice box, with an alluring mole-like character developing in the glass. It’s deep, rich, and powerful on the palate, yet has a forward, layered style as well as rocking purity, no hard edges, sweet tannins, and a great finish. My money is on it being one of the finest Merlot-dominated blends in the vintage." (01/2019)
Starting Bid: $230.00

Bid on this bottle of 2016 Saxum "Bone Rock - James Berry Vineyard" Paso Robles Syrah (98VN, 97JD, 93RP, 93WS). Vinous: "Saturated violet color. Highly expressive black and blue fruit liqueur, cherry-cola, exotic spice and potpourri scents show excellent clarity and pick up vanilla and licorice accents with air. Deeply concentrated, mineral-driven blueberry, bitter cherry and fruitcake flavors are complemented by a hint of candied flowers that builds on the back half. Broad and velvety in texture, finishing with emphatic, floral- and spice-dominated persistence and polished tannins that lend subtle grip. (JR)" (02/2020)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2014 Quilceda Creek Tasting Lot, including 1-bottle of 2014 Quilceda Creek "Galitzine Vineyard" Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon (100RP, 95VN) and 1-bottle of 2014 Quilceda Creek "Palengat Vineyard" Horse Heaven Hills Bordeaux Blend (96RP, 94VN). Of the 2014 Quilceda Creek "Galitzine Vineyard" Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The finest vintage ever for this cuvee, the utterly spellbinding 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Galitzine Vineyard is 100% Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon that was brought up in new barrels. Slightly deeper and richer than the Columbia Valley Cabernet, its deep ruby/purple color is followed by a smorgasbord of graphite, crushed violets, crushed rocks, cassis and dark chocolate. With incredible richness, ultra-fine tannin, no hard edges and a stacked mid-palate, give this crazy good red 2-3 years of cellaring and enjoy over the following two decades! Bravo to the team at Quilceda! (JD)" (06/2017)

Bid on this magnum of 2001 Duckhorn "Patzimaro Vineyard" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (93RP, 92WE, 91WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Patzimaro Vineyard is the most evolved and drinkable of these single vineyard offerings. Its dense purple color is accompanied by a stunning perfume of sweet licorice intermixed with black currants, chocolate, cedar and spice box. With nine separate offerings, all performing exceptionally well, Duckhorn Vineyards must be thrilled with the evolution of their 2001s. This is a terrific performance for these Duckhorn wines with most of them showing better than they did upon release – always a great sign. (RP)" (05/2011)

Thick and seamless on the palate, with game, saline, dark honey and brown spice flavors framed and leavened by superb acid cut. Finishes very long and meaty, with a tactile impression of extract. A very interesting and deep sweet wine from late-picked Chardonnay. (ST)" (05/2008)

Bid on this 3-bottle lot of 2013 Ridge Vineyards "Lytton Springs" Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel (95VN, 92RP). Vinous: "The 2013 Lytton Springs has really come together over the last year, far exceeding my early expectations. Powerful and explosive in the glass, the 2013 boasts tons of inky blue/purplish fruit, mocha, spices, new leather, lavender and licorice. Readers will have to give the Lytton Springs at least a few years to shed some baby fat, but it is nearly impossible to resist, even at this early stage. Once again, the team at Ridge has produced an absolutely compelling Lytton Springs. The 16% Petite Sirah in the blend adds an unmistakable air of gravitas. Ridge remains one of the finest operations I visit anywhere in the world. The total commitment to quality, value and customer service simply has no equal in this country. Although the flagship Monte Bello, Lytton Springs and Geyserville bottlings get most of the attention, the Three Valleys Zinfandel is a reliably outstanding v

Bid on this 9-bottle lot of 2014 Col dei Venti "Tufoblu" Barbaresco (90WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Leather, menthol, red berry and crushed herb aromas lead the way in this youthfully vibrant wine. Star anise and herb notes back up its core of red cherry and crushed strawberry fruit. Taut, fine-grained tannins and racy acidity provide the framework. (KO)" (10/2017)
Starting Bid: $180.00

Of the 2015 Kerr "Reserve" Napa Valley Bordeaux Blend,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Potentially the best of all three if it evolves, as I think it will, the 2015 Reserve Proprietary Red offers up huge notes of blackberries, blackberries, violets and forest floor. It is full-bodied, with that sucrosity and thickness on the mid-palate that so many 2015s have. With good energy and vibrant acidity, this is a stunner , with a finish of close to a minute. It should drink well for 25-30 years. (RP)" (10/2016)

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Sine Qua Non "...and an Eight Track" Central Coast Rosé. SQN's rosé style is darker and more full-bodied than a typical rosé, and it also carries a longer drinking window. Praise from Wine Advocate: "There are few greater success stories in wine than that of Sine Qua Non’s Manfred Krankl. Austrian-born and showing up penniless in Los Angeles in 1980, he went on to create one of the greatest wine estates in the world today by sheer talent and work ethic." (JD, 8/2015)

Bid on this 4-half-bottle lot of 1983 Rieussec, Sauternes (375ml) (94WS, 92RP). Wine Spectator: "Nectar-like if a bit on the sweet side, impressively complex, concentrated and focused. Deep gold, big, sweet and rich, with gobs of concentrated fig, brown sugar, butterscotch and oak flavor. A knockout. *#69 Top Wines of 1988*" (01/1988)
Starting Bid: $233.00

Bid on this bottle of 1989 Lynch-Bages, Pauillac (99RP, 96VN, 96WS, 95ST, 94JS, 92JG). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1989 has taken forever to shed its formidable tannins, but what a great vintage of Lynch Bages! I would rank it at the top of the pyramid although the 1990, 2000, and down the road, some of the more recent vintages such as 2005, 2009 and 2010 should come close to matching the 1989's extraordinary concentration and undeniable aging potential. Its dense purple color reveals a slight lightening at the edge and the stunning bouquet offers classic notes of creme de cassis, subtle smoke, oak and graphite. Powerful and rich with some tannins still to shed at age 22, it is still a young adolescent in terms of its evolution and will benefit from another 4-5 years of cellaring. It should prove to be a 50 year wine. (RP) 99+" (08/2011)

Of the 2010 Flowers "Sea View Ridge - Block 11" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2010 Pinot Noir Sea View Ridge Block 11 is the most intriguing wine in this range Complex, beguiling and changing in the glass, it is a wine of notable pedigree. Savory herbs, licorice and new leather all flow from the glass. The 2010 is endowed with gorgeous inner sweetness and fabulous balance. There is an energy and precision to the flavors that is captivating. This gorgeous Pinot from Flowers pushes all the right buttons. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2025. (AG)" (04/2013

Of the 2014 Kistler "Vine Hill Vineyard" Russian River Valley Chardonnay,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Opulently scented of exotic fruits and spices, the 2014 Chardonnay Vine Hill Road Vineyard offers up notes of ginger and anise over a core of pineapple paste, passion fruit and green guava. The palate is beautifully structured with a lively backbone of acid supporting the rich, seductive fruit, finishing long and creamy. Kistler Vineyards remains one of the absolute benchmark producers of great Sonoma Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, sitting right up there with the highest quality examples of these grapes from throughout the world. While the wines come from as wide a range of top terroirs as Sonoma can provide, interestingly nearl

Dark aromas of blackberry, black cherry and licorice are complicated by a whiff of gamey syrah and an emerging violet element. Densely packed, pliant and chewy, with a mouthfilling texture to its flavors of red berries, spices, tobacco leaf, pepper and dried flowers. This very supple blend finishes with sweet dusty tannins and very good length. Should offer early appeal, but give it a good aeration if you plan to drink it in the next 6 to 12 months. Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2013 Sea Smoke "Southing" Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (94WE). Wine Enthusiast: "Ripe and racy on the nose, this always much-anticipated release shows black raspberry, baked strawberry, wet cement, cinnamon and mace spice and cola on the nose. The palate is surprisingly, refreshingly restrained, with sizzling acidity cutting across the chocolate-dipped black cherries, baking spice, dried oregano and rosemary that show in the mid-palate. (MK)" (09/2016)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2008 Shafer "One Point Five" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (93JS, 92RP, 92ST, 92WE, 90WS). James Suckling: "This is so balanced and delicious now. Love the leather, forest floor and fresh mushroom character with dark fruits. Full and silky with ripe berries and spices and just a hint of wood. Velvety texture. Give it another three or four years of bottle age." (06/2011)

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2013 Turley "Heminway" Napa Valley Zinfandel (95RP, 93VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I tasted seven cuvées of 2013 Zinfandel from Napa. The 2013 Zinfandel Heminway Vineyard comes from the high-elevation Vaca Mountains in northeastern Napa. Located at the end of Howell Mountain, just north of Pritchard Hill, at an elevation of 1700 feet, the grapes come from vines planted in 1915 and grown in mineral-laced sandy soils. Blueberry and blackberry fruit dominate this dense ruby/purple-colored wine, which has one of the more saturated colors of the 2013s. Full-bodied, rich, pure, intense, exuberant and lusty, this beauty combines both power and elegance into a multi-dimensional, world-class, dry red wine that just happens to be made from 100% Zinfandel. Drink it over the next decade. (RP)" (04/2015)

Of the 2013 Rhys "Horseshoe Vineyard" Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir,Vinous writes: "An absolute triumph from Rhys, the 2013 Pinot Noir Horseshoe Vineyard is all about translucence and a total sense of weightlessness. The flavors are lifted and precise throughout in an utterly captivating Pinot that captures the essence of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Hints of rose petal, dark red cherry, anise and licorice grace the haunting, exquisite finish. The Horseshoe is arguably the most refined of these 2013 Pinots from Rhys. (AG)" (07/2015)

Bid on this bottle of 2017 Saxum "Booker Vineyard" Paso Robles Rhône Blend (98JD, 95RP, 94WS). Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2017 Booker Vineyard got a few expletives and wows in the notes. It’s a full-bodied, flamboyant, straight essence of Paso Robles beauty that’s loaded with notions of black fruits, chocolate, ground pepper, candied orange peel, and spring flowers. It’s a masculine, powerhouse of a Syrah, which is classic Booker Vineyard. 98+" (10/2019)

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 1996 Bodegas Reyes "Teofilo Reyes" Tinto Cosecha Ribera del Duero (94WE, 93ST, 92RP). Wine Enthusiast: "Dark cherry aromas and beautifully integrated oak with attractive mint-menthol notes grace the complex nose. Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 1977 Taylor Vintage Port (98VN, 97WS, 96RP, 95WE, 93JG). Vinous: "The 1977 Taylor's Vintage Port is initially tight and conservative on the nose: strawberry, baked cherry, tobacco and wild hedgerow notes emerging but remaining tight-lipped. This needs a good decant! The palate is endowed with depth and concentration, very well balanced with an attractive crispness. Perhaps you could argue that it is a "linear" and more "correct" Taylor's compared to the 1970 and lacks some charm. But there is immense complexity here so it is more a case of a Port demanding a very long maturation in bottle. Tasted in the Factory House in Porto for "Taylor's - The Story of a Classic Port House" book. (NM)" (06/2018)
Starting Bid: $310.00

Bid on this bottle of 2013 Bevan "Wildfoote Vixen Block" Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 96VN, 94WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From a vineyard owned by Screaming Eagle’s former proprietress, Jean Phillips, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Vixen Block Wildfoote is all Cabernet Sauvignon from clone 7, aged in equal parts new Taransaud and new Darnajou. An amazing wine, opaque purple in color, with sweet cedar wood, Christmas fruitcake, blackberry and cassis as well as some charcoal and incense, this fabulous wine is super-rich and capable of 30 years of further evolution. (RP) 97+" (10/2015)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2015 TeHo "Tomal Vineyard" Malbec Mendoza. Vinous: "Saturated ruby-red. Very ripe if slightly subdued aromas of plum and licorice (my first bottle was a bit chocolatey and advanced). Fat and sweet but a bit lacking in energy and cut and not currently showing the distinction of the other new TeHo and ZaHa bottlings. Finishes with slightly medicinal licorice and herb notes, a suggestion of peppery stems, and dusty tannins that turned a bit dry with air. (ST)" (07/2018)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Bid on this magnum of 2007 Agharta "Exhibit C" North Coast Bordeaux Blend (1.5L). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2007 Exhibit C White Label will be aged 48 months. A similar blend of 30% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot, it reveals a dark ruby/purple color, a boatload of tannin and notes of black currants and cherries... Certainly it has some serious power behind it (15% alcohol). (RP)" (02/2011)
Starting Bid: $64.00

Bid on this 5-bottle lot of 2012 Ventisquero "Enclave" Cabernet Sauvignon Maipo Valley (93VN, 93W&S, 92JS, 92WE, 91RP). Vinous: "Bright violet. Potent, mineral-laced dark berry, cherry and licorice aromas are complemented by hints of cola, mocha and candied flowers. Fleshy and appealingly sweet, offering concentrated black currant, cherry-vanilla and rose pastille flavors underscored by a jolt of smoky minerality. Displays excellent depth, balance and lift and shows impressive focus on the persistent finish, which is framed by smooth, harmonious tannins. (JR)" (02/2017)

Bid on this magnum of 1982 Beaulieu Vineyard "Georges de Latour" Private Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (signs of past seepage) (92JG, 90RP, 90VN). John Gilman: "This was served from magnum, where it is still deep, vibrant and very fine. The bouquet is deep, complex and classically Georges de Latour in its beautiful blend of red and black cherries, chocolate, a touch of coconutty oak, gentle cigar smoke and Rutherford dust in the upper register. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep and quite suave on the attack, with a fine core of fruit, gentle tannins, excellent focus and lovely length and grip on the pure, plush and refined finish. This is probably the last great classic vintage of the Georges de Latour bottling, and at least in magnum, it is drinking very well indeed and has plenty of life still ahead of it." (03/2009)
Starting Bid: $135.00

Bid on this magnum of 2013 Cayuse "Wallah Wallah Special #5" Walla Walla Valley Syrah (1.5L) (96RP, 93VN, 93WE). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "One of the most complete, layered and elegant 2013s from Cayuse is the 2013 Syrah Walla Walla Special #5, which is made from two separate parcels that remind Christophe of the northern Rhone’s Jamet brother’s Cote Rotie. He also keeps the price low as a thank you to his customers. Giving up classic cool climate notes of green olives, black cherries, scorched earth, ash and ripe herbs, this beauty hits the palate with full-bodied richness, no hard edges, incredibly fine tannin and a finish that just keeps going. I thoroughly enjoyed drinking it today, but it will be better with 4-5 years of cellaring and have two decades or more of overall longevity. (JD)" (06/2016)
Starting Bid: $150.00

Of the 2016 Kistler "Trenton Roadhouse" Russian River Valley Chardonnay,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "The 2016 Chardonnay Trenton Roadhouse Vineyard rocks up with effortless notions of pear tart, warm apple pie and lemon curd plus touches of spice cake, croissant, almond butter and lime cordial. Full-bodied, rich and wonderfully harmonious, it delivers incredibly intense stone fruit and spice layers with a very long savory finish. (LPB)" (06/2018)

Starting Bid: $193.88

Bid on this magnum of 1997 Dunn Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (92RP, 92WS). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa exhibits an opaque purple color as well as a gorgeous nose of pure cassis and blackberries with flinty notions in the background. Full-bodied, powerful, tannic, pure, and backward, it needs another 8-10 years of cellaring. (RP)" (12/2000)

Bid on this magnum of 2006 Felsina "Rancia" Chianti Classico Riserva (1.5L) (96RP). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2006 Chianti Classico Riserva Rancia is another of the truly great wines in this tasting. It is most similar in style to the 2001 for its power, but also has some of the aromatic finesse and complexity of the 2004. Layers of fruit build to the explosive, huge finish. Today the 2006 is big, implosive and tightly wound, but it will be absolutely gorgeous in another few years. Actually, it already is. Since its release a few years ago, the 2006 has continued to move towards a more refined expression of Sangiovese while maintaining all of the structure it showed as a young wine. (AG)" (06/2012)

Of the 2010 Peter Michael "Le Moulin Rouge" Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "My favorite of this quartet is the 2010 Pinot Noir Moulin Rouge Pisoni Vineyard, which was harvested three weeks later than the 2009. The 2010 reveals lots of cassis, black raspberry jam, spring flower and loamy, dusty soil notes as well as a full-bodied, opulent style. It should drink well for a decade. (RP)" (12/2013)

Bid on this magnum of 1980 Freemark Abbey Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L). Freemark Abbey boasts that they have "the most extensive collection of library Cabernets of any Napa Valley winery, and the 1980 is the oldest release available from their library. But the 750ml tops $100, making this magnum (the better choice for aging this delicate, underrated vintage from among Napa's top producers in the 1980s) a fine choice.
Starting Bid: $125.00

Bid on this 6-bottle lot of 2015 Andrew Will "Sorella" Horse Heaven Hills Bordeaux Blend (98RP, 96JD). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Sorella is superb, unwinding in the glass with a youthful but already complex bouquet of crushed cassis, cherries, pencil shavings, subtle cigar smoke and espresso roast. On the palate, it's full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with a rock-solid core, juicy acids and a beautifully fine-grained but firm chassis of structuring tannins. If it's the most promising of these 2015s from Chris Camarda, it's also the most backward and in need of cellaring, and as the track record of this bottling demonstrates, its tenth birthday will be just the beginning of the excitement. (WK)" (06/2018)
Starting Bid: $370.00

Bid on this magnum of 2003 Hestan Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (93RP, 89ST). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Performing even better than it did from cask, the 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon (288 cases of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon made by up-and-coming winemaker Mark Herold for proprietors Stanley and Helen Cheng) looks to be sensational. Its inky/blue/purple color is followed by an explosive nose of blueberry liqueur intermixed with white chocolate and acacia flowers. Full-bodied, opulent, and dense with high but sweet levels of tannin, marvelous purity, and a layered finish that lasts for 40+ seconds, this superb 2003 can be drunk young or cellared for two decades. " (12/2005)
Starting Bid: $103.00

Bid on this magnum of 2007 Karl Lawrence Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L). The vineyard sources for this wine are among some of the most notable in the Napa Valley--Morisoli, Beckstoffer-To Kolan, Herb Lamb and Beckstoffer-Dr. Crane--which give this wine some serious wow factor. Black cherry conserve, caramel and spice come through on the nose right now, with currant, cherry and chocolate flavors filling out the palate. The tannins are firm but well integrated, lingering on the finish with some vanilla spice. Drinkable now with some decanting, this wine would take nicely to a nap in your cellar, too.
Starting Bid: $110.00

Bid on this 4-bottle lot of 2014 Avennia "Red Willow Vineyard" Yakima Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (97RP, 91VN). Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "In the top handful of wines in the vintage, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Willow Vineyard is a tiny-production release that comes from a single parcel in the Red Willow Vineyard in the Yakima Valley. Unfortunately, there are just 100 cases made, but it is a sensational wine. Cassis, graphite, crushed rocks and lead pencil characteristics all emerge from the glass, and this beauty hits the palate with full-bodied richness, first-growth-like purity, fine tannin and a great, great finish. Bravo! (JD)" (06/2017)
Starting Bid: $260.00

Bid on this 2-bottle lot of 2011 Aubert Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir Horizontal, including 1-bottle of 2011 Aubert "CIX" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (91RP) and 1-bottle of 2011 Aubert "UV-SL Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (96RP). Of the 2011 Aubert "UV-SL Vineyard" Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir,Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes: "Aubert's 2011 Pinot Noir UV-SL Vineyard is easily the most refined of the wines in this range of Pinots. Intensely perfumed and layered -- but not at all heavy -- the UV-SL has all its elements in perfect balance. Savory herbs, licorice, mint, plums and black cherries all come to life in the glass, but ultimately, the 2011 stands out most for its silkiness, grace and exceptional overall balance. Expressive floral notes add considerable freshness on the close. (AG)" (04/2013)

Bid on this magnum of 2010 Larkmead "Solari" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1.5L) (98JS, 96RP, 96VN, 93ST). James Suckling: "This is like Mouton 1982 on the nose with lead pencil, blackberry, mint and asphalt. Iodine, iron and blood, too. Toasted oak and coffee. Full body with an incredible depth of fruit and structure to this red. The texture of velvet is compelling and makes you contemplate all great wines. A pinnacle of pure Napa Cabernet. Reserved opulence. Please give this at least three to five years to soften with bottle age: Try in 2018." (10/2014)
